Breeanna Horton

Breeanna Horton, MBA/HA, MSW, LCSW

Clinical Supervisor, Owner, Founder · LCSW-19377

Licensed Clinical Social Worker | Clinical Supervisor | Owner of The Psychology Lab

Breeanna Horton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with dual master's degrees in social work and business management, with a concentration in Health Administration. She is a board-approved clinical supervisor through the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and provides clinical supervision to both pre-licensed professionals and associate licensed professionals within The Psychology Lab's outpatient treatment center, as well as to supervisees at various agencies throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Breeanna began her professional journey in the mental health field as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in 2018 and earned her clinical licensure and supervision credentials in 2020. In 2021, she opened The Psychology Lab, a private practice rooted in evidence-based care, trauma-informed principles, and client-centered approaches. As of April 2025, The Psychology Lab is a Department of Health and Safety outpatient treatment center. The decision to shift from a private practice to an outpatient treatment center was rooted in wanting to create more opportunities to help people address their mental health needs.

Her clinical specialties include trauma and post-traumatic stress, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, and couples therapy. Breeanna is particularly passionate about working with individuals who feel emotionally disconnected or isolated, or who are seeking deeper relational intimacy. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in cultivating connection and fostering emotional resilience. She integrates a variety of modalities, including Brainspotting, Polyvagal Theory, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), somatic interventions, the Gottman Method for couples, and Narrative Therapy.

Breeanna's mission is to support healing and transformation through a relational, strengths-based lens that honors the whole person - body, mind, and story.

Outside of her professional work, Breeanna enjoys spending time with her large and lively family, which includes her husband, five children, two dogs, two cats, and - depending on the week - more horses than she'd care to admit. Her home is always filled with energy, laughter, and the occasional chaos that comes with a full house. In her downtime, she can be found horseback riding or enjoying a quiet moment with a book - either a heartfelt romance or a compelling work of psychological science.

Celeste Ford

Celeste Ford, LAC

LAC-22819 · IOP Intake & Group Therapy

Celeste Ford is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor's in Psychology.

Celeste works specifically in intake counseling for The Psychology Lab's Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and group therapy. Her role is to help clients understand where they are, what they need, and what the next steps in their care should look like before they begin an intensive treatment journey.

Celeste brings a compassionate and naturally curious approach to the intake process. She takes the time to understand the person behind the presenting concerns while thoughtfully assessing symptoms, history, safety, strengths, and diagnostic considerations to help determine the most appropriate level of care.

Having also facilitated IOP groups herself, Celeste understands the unique challenges that can accompany intensive treatment, including complex mental health concerns, significant life disruption, and circumstances involving court-ordered care. She believes that whether someone enters treatment feeling excited and eager or overwhelmed and resistant, they deserve to be respected, understood, and given a space where they are genuinely listened to.

Celeste sees the intake as the beginning of a collaborative process that involves creating a clear understanding of the challenges someone is facing, identifying meaningful goals, and establishing realistic milestones to help an individual become invested in their treatment and measure progress along the way. Her goal is for each person to leave the intake feeling seen, understood, and more prepared for what comes next, even when the intake process requires a lot of questions and historical context to explore.
